Just because it’s summer, it doesn’t mean you have to stop acting, dancing, singing and moving! Check out all the summer fun from CT Performing Arts Center!
Junior Broadway Camp
JULY 10 – 14
Ages 8-12
9:00 – 12:00 pm
The Jr. Broadway Camp will be filled with fun acting games, improvisation, music and dancing. Campers will perform scenes in small groups. They will also sing and dance to a Broadway song. There will be a small performance for parents on the last day of camp showcasing what they learned throughout the week

Encanto Dance Theater Camp
JULY 17 – 21
Ages 6 – 12
9:00 – 12:00 pm
Campers will bring the story of Encanto to life through dance. They will get to be the Madrigal family members on stage in this mini production. Campers will be immersed in the many fun elements of putting on a production by helping to create the props and scenery and of course the dancing and storytelling. Join us for this fun new Dance Theater Camp. There will be a final performance the last day of camp for parents to watch their children perform.

Little Mermaid Dance Theater Camp
JULY 24- 28
Ages 8 – 16
9:00 – 12:00 pm

Campers will bring the story of the Little Mermaid to life on stage through dance, storytelling, costumes, and music. Campers will be immersed in the many fun elements of putting on a production by helping to create the props and scenery and of course the dancing, costumes and storytelling. Join us for this fun new Dance Theater Camp. There will be a final performance the last day of camp for parents to watch their children perform.

Registration will remain open until the camp is full or start of camp – whichever comes first. Campers who register after the audition date will participate in the ensemble of the show!
“Oh, the thinks you can think” when Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper! Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
This 2 week, full day, fast paced camp will have your camper acting, singing and dancing! Campers who audition will be assigned speaking, singing, and/or featured dancing roles in this Junior version of Seussical. The final product of this camp will conclude with a 60 min production with tickets being sold for public performance. There will be one evening performance Aug 11 and one matinee performance Aug 12.

Performing Arts Club
The Performing Arts Club is a diverse, all-inclusive program for children! Campers will participate in a variety of dance, yoga and fitness, music, art and drama activities. This fun and active curriculum allows children to develop social skills and diverse talents at a young age.
Mini Performing Arts Club

Ages 3 through 5
Must be potty trained
The goal of this performing arts preschool program is to enhance your child’s overall artistic development. Campers will participate in a variety of dance, music, art and drama each day.

Junior Performing Arts Club

Ages 6 through 9
Campers will have a fun week participating in a variety of dance, music, art and drama. Each day will offer a new dance style, music lesson, art project, and drama story to act out. The goal of this camp is to enhance your child’s artistic development and introduce them to the wonderful world of the performing arts.

INSPIRE Dance Company Film
Ages 10 – 18
Rehearse 10:00 – 12:00
Aug 21-25
Filming 9 – 11 or 6 – 8 pm

This camp is for Inspire Dance Company and any students who would like to participate and get a feel for what dance company is like. Dancers will learn a hip hop routine that will be filmed – complete with costumes – and posted to YouTube and other social media.
Rehearsals and filming will be from 10:00 – 12:00, with a few additional filming times in the evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm that same week.
